"I tell all my clients the one contractor you can count on is the Cronins. They all agree."

Joan Davis, Kitchen Designer and Consultant, Manchester, MA

"It is amazing, they work together, spend all their time together and get along so well. The Cronins are more evolved than most people."

Marianne Hefferman, Customer, Marblehead, MA

Our Other Love, Our Boats...

We love cabinets, but we also share a love for the sea, and the vessels of which to travel upon that sea with. Our boats are our other love, and below is information on the vast collection of our boats, many are ongoing projects, and some even float!

Tannis (1937)

In 1966 Jack and Mary took a long awaited vacation to Bermuda. There they sailed for the first time. Just 2 years later they purchased Tannis, a 38' wooden (of course) friendship sloop on which they have spent every summer since. The four older children learned to love sailing while the younger four grew up with it in their blood. The Cronins have maintained Tannis since they bought her in the spring of 1968 have using their woodcraft to maintain and make her better.

Corbier (unfinished)

Bill and Jack began building this 40' Malabar Schooner in the winter of 1984. She has been a long term project with the thought to replace the aging Tannis. She is another creative way for the Cronins to use their skills and gain other skills which can be brought into cabinet making.

Finesse

John owns, maintains and sails his Luders 16.

Aallotar

Jeff owns, maintains and sails Bullseye

Curlow

Jeff has this project on the board. A classic Wianno Senior, built in 1934, he will someday be sailing her again.

White Eagle

Bill, after admiring her for 15 years, purchased this project in 1988. She is a 29' friendship sloop that was originally built in 1914, and presently is in need of a total rebuild. He has finished the keel, stem and stern post.

Felinity

A 17' Duxbury cat boat originally built in the 1920's by George Chiveruk was Bill's first independent boat project. He rebuilt her and sailed her for several years.

Kangaroo

Bill and Jeff have an IOD in the barn on hold until some of the other boating projects are addressed.

Effie M.

An original working lobster boat built in 1958, rebuilt by the Cronins over the year of 2005. She's presently in working order!
