"Cronins did the kitchen of a house I was the general contractor of. They did such a great job, when I built my dream home, we used them for our house. We are so happy. The kitchen looks great. Everybody loves it."

A Cronin Family Tradition

Since 1962, customers in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont have relied on Charlton MA Cronin Cabinets for all of their custom cabinetry and millwork needs. Headed by Jack and Mary Cronin, this family-operated business has been building quality cabinets and prides itself on being available to their customers during every step of the design process; from initial consultation to the cabinetry’s installation. Standing one-hundred percent behind each and every piece, Jack Cronin is a 1951 graduate from the Boston Trade School with a major in cabinetmaking.

Today, while overseeing each and every piece, Jack has also fostered the art of cabinetmaking to other family members by passing his techniques and years of cabinetmaking experience to the next generation of Cronin's.

Building with the Customer in Mind

Using traditional woodworking techniques, Cronin Cabinets are manufactured for years of enjoyment. Different from other kitchen cabinets, all custom cabinets designed by Cronin Cabinets are made to accommodate their intended spaces. This means customers will not find a “one size fits all” type of cabinet. By handcrafting each piece and implementing a customer’s ideas, design concepts and functionality needs, Cronin Cabinets is able to create a beautiful masterpiece that will become the focal point of your kitchen, bathroom, living room or other selected area.

Once completed, Cronin Cabinets prides itself on installing cabinetry on time. All quality kitchen cabinets, custom design cabinets and special order cabinets are personally installed by employees of Cronin Cabinets to ensure a proper fit. Bringing their own hand tools, representatives of Cronin Cabinets strive to accomplish the goal of installing all custom wood cabinets so they are adjusted properly; down to the last 1/32nd  of an inch.

Using Tried and True Techniques

Implementing tried and tested cabinetmaking techniques from Boston MA most respected cabinet makers, some of the manufacturing methods used at Cronin Cabinets are hundreds of years old. Found rarely at most cabinet manufacturing facilities, these time-consuming methods ensure all custom design kitchen cabinets and quality wood cabinets will be a durable, functional storage unit for your home and will last for generations. In fact, whether your home is contemporary or hundreds of years old, this unique manufacturing process allows Cronin Cabinets to design custom wood cabinets that match existing spaces, design elements, moldings and woods. In fact, Cronin Cabinets has personally built and installed custom kitchen cabinets for homes that are new construction as well as those that are 200 years old.

When having a design consultation, be sure to ask a Cronin Cabinets design consultant about their cabinets’ specialty features including the use of available woods, finishes, and handcrafting techniques such as dovetailing and mortise and tendon joints.
