The Cronins work with all types of wood and will stain or paint to your specifications. Our old fashioned values and superior workmanship will provide you with exceptional cabinets for years to come. We also construct fireplace mantels, entertainment centers... anything you might need in wood. We are certified in solid surfacing, specializing in Corian and plastic laminates. Quality
Cronin Cabinets uses traditional woodworking techniques to build cabinets which will last a life time and beyond. These techniques include:

Dovetailing
A method of joining wood at corners by the use of interlocking pins and tails. The joint is self locking and one of the strongest methods of construction.

 

 

Mortice and Tenon
A joinery technique where the tenon from one board fits into the mortise of another.This is a time tested face frame construction used over the centuries because of its stability and durability.

Custom means the ability to match your space, moldings, colors and styles.
Custom built means custom sizes, color and quality. Cronin Cabinets creates cabinets which utilize your space to its maximum. We will work with you and are not restricted by our product. Your needs and desires are our only guidelines.

 

Cronin Cabinets actually builds your cabinets for you to fit your unique home, plans, vision and choices.

While many shops say they are custom, most actually modify factory-built cabinets which are not as well made, lose integrity through the modification process and do not most efficiently utilize the space available in your home. By custom installing our cabinets we are further able to insure a proper fit which reduces future problems to you. Few other shops install the cabinets they provide which can leave you with doors that don’t close properly, gaps between cabinets or the surface on which they are installed, and scratches which can mar the beauty of your new cabinets.
